Default Using AI to Generate a New Falcon GT Concept Car

For fun, lets have a crack at presenting what an all new Falcon GT would look like if Ford were to make one. Art, Drawing, Graphic or Photoshop skills are not needed.

This is where Text to Graphic AI comes into play as it will draw what ever you prompt it to via a text description.

Seeing we all present ideas here in this forum via text, we should have no trouble using those skills to generate some concepts.

There are many AI Sites out there. These images where generated in Playground AI as it is free and easy to sign up. Not sure if aloud to link the site, but it's easy to google and find. You are limited to like 1000 images a day so no problems there.

I have literally made hundreds of them as they are generated quickly 4 at a time, and you are only limited by your description of what you want it to generate.

90% of generated images are junk so don't be despaired, you just have to tweak your prompt in what you want it to do. Try different filters ect.

Here are simple prompt examples to get you started. You should add as much detail as you can to it though.

'Photo realistic concept car, 2025 ford falcon gt, natural lighting, brochure quality'

'Australian Ford Falcon Concept Car, 2025 concept sketch, showing front and side of the car, car centered in image'

I have tried to base concepts off the last Falcon GT, but to use the Ford DNA off current cars to generate what a 2025 model could look like.

For now I will put 3 up and can add more later if anyone is interested. Sorry they are not the full car but this is the fun of playing with AI. You get what you get.

I would be very interested to see what others can come up with. Have a go and post some contenders. Lets create what Ford wont.

Very Nice.
Which AI Program did you use to generate them?
There is also Midjourney which is not free but will probably do better than the one I use.

You seem to have more success than me at getting whole images, mine get chopped off at the sides.

Just in sticking to the Falcon there are so many GT Concepts I have yet to try.

I have also tried to do retro concept based off the XY GTHO and make it modern based off that style, sort of like the what Dodge did with the Challenger. No success yet.

You could also do a modern take on a XA GT Coupe, a modern GT Ute or Panel Van could be interesting. Once you get thinking the options pile up.

Here is a Falcon GT based with a heavy Mustang influence as another option.

It is sort of crazy in how many directions you can go and still have it look like it is from Ford.

To me this one is sort of like a modern XD type interpretation in a weird way.

Then you can go more European in looks,

America can keep the Maverick, we can have a V8 Falcon GT crewman style ute.

Come on Tonz, let's see what you can create.

If you can use google, you can generate these. Your dream Ford may only be a few sentences away.

Setting, Art or Artist Style can be also included in the prompt.

You can look in the profile gallery in Playground AI and see the prompts that others have used on their drawings then copy and edit the prompts also.

I don't know what to call this one other than a crazy GT Ute Concept.

I can't do this yet myself, but I think those who can could try to add the latest global trends from motor show concept cars. That would also be interesting.
Cheers

Well I tried,

This was the best I could get from multiple attempts to get a Falcon GT / Sundowner Panel Van Type car, so far.

Just can't get it to understand what a panel shape is as we used to have them.

This one is blasphemy on this forum, but it was the AI not me......

How about a new Falcon GT crossed with a little bit of Torana Hatchback vibe.....

As I said above you can go into the community gallery, search for concept cars and copy and edit other peoples prompts and use them in yours.

This might help some people out as it worked well. Don't ask me what half of it means. You can fine tune what ever you want in it.

This is a great thread. Sort of hurts though seeing the cars that could have been.

Slight thread drift, AI take on a 2023 Ford Territory

Call me old school but all ive seen so far is FGs and Mustangs give or take neither of which interest me but does make me wonder if AI as supposedly clever as it is grasps the History/GT thing.

I know what you are saying.

I have been trying to get a render of a XY or XA Series redone to modern but have failed so far.

I want to achieve in the same way that Dodge did with the Challenger kind of thing.

As everyone who has had a go above have found, it is a huge rabbit hole to jump into as there is a gazillion ways to to manipulate what it draws.

Another technique is to import as photo as a reference.

I imported a street machine magazine photo of a purple XA Coupe and asked for a modern version based on modern ford dna ect ect and got this :(

Maybe a little too far into the future....

See the failed AU experiment above. It’s difficult to get AI to do something that you wouldn’t realistically do in real life.

Hyundai have this,

Ford Australia could have this.
It looks to have somehow put Mt Panorama in the back ground too.

I have not tried AU themed cars but maybe you could try using the terms of the styling Ford called it in the day. Maybe you could see if it understands Ford New Edge Styling for example.

I used some of that for prompts, this is a bit more tasty and you can see the AU DNA in it - grill, quad lights, roof shape.
