Hi Guys,
currently got a xr6 n/a with full defillpo duel system and a bluepower cai. Looking at getting one of your xcal tunes done.. but firstly.. how much increase would you estimate i got in terms of kw at the engine... cheers.. |

Companies that quote flywheel power without actual testing on an engine dyno are misleading the public. The bigger the number they use in their marketing, the more public interest they generate. Engine power numbers differ greatly depending upon how much oil is in the sump, type of oil used, accessories used in the test on front of engine and the like. We wont quote flywheel figures. You should get around 6-20 rear wheel kilowatts from a custom tune in your application, depending upon the vehicle. Of course, with changes to trans and also torque reduction, even the smallest of rear wheel kilowatt gains makes the car a different beast to drive. Hope this helps Theo
