Watch Duetsche Welle TV and u see a lot of long faces when they interview the Mercedes and BMW honchos. Theyre market share and reputations are falling. Give me a Falcon or A commie over a South African made 3 series anyday |

i think its only fair that they would mention the GTO in that article, if they are comparing straight line speeds....the GTO is up there with them, and for the $100+K you saved, you could pretty much very easily get well under those times....but you're still driving a HSV, and not a $200,000 beamer...
it all comes down to personal preference, as is often the case....and if you've got the $$ to spend, then why not go the Beamer with the luxury and performance tied in to 1....and chances are it'll be better quality than the HSV at the end of the day (overall) |

When your looking at $200,000+ cars why would you look at a $100,000 car, i know what your saying but with you guys saying that, if your looking at a GT or R8 why not buy the XR8 or SS and spend the $15 - 20k on mods to get better performance or the XR6T over a F6?
I know 2 friends whos parents are looking at an M5 CL55 etc and there not looking at an Aussie built model..
