Angry Don't think this will buff out

Those that know me will know how I feel about this. I'm not goin to go into how as i'll end up costing myself more flow when I throw my computer accross the room. In short some people are totally @%&$ed! NOT EVEN A $^%&ING NOTE! IF I EVER FIND THE S.O.B I will put them in hospital if they are lucky!!

Youd think they would have realised by the first 3feet of damage.Looks as though a tray from a ute has swiped it?

Im confident that needs no bog by the pics and they may even just replace the whole skins hopefully.Bloody nora!

Damn Glenn, I feel for ya mate - that's a dog act....and to not even leave a note....just shows you how far society has slipped......I had the same thing happen to my AU - Had a truck back into it in carpark......got him on camera, but not enough to identify or get a rego plate......he even got out, walked over, looked at it......then casually got back in truck and drove off!!!!

Hope it all works out OK in the end mate!!!

Regards,

Sylar (Dave)

Yeah I keep trying to wish it away. It's there and I gotta deal with it. Guess I'll just not look at the Passanger side of the ute till it's fixed. Getting it quoted tomoz and booked in for the asesser for Tuesday morning. Then It'll be straight in for repair as ASAP. Sounds like I'll have no ute for around 2 weeks.

Cheers
Glenn

If it happened in a carpark somewhere, is it worth trying to find out if there is any cctv footage of who did it?? You never know, a camera might have been facing your ute and perhaps a rego plate visable.

Already thought of this and no dice. I usually park front and centre as there is coverage and witnesses but car park was full, so in my wisdom I parked at the back away from everyone. First time I have and Bang. No witnesses or cctv back there. I just gotta cop it.

Cheers

hey mate, commiserations. I know exactly how you feel. 4 weeks ago someone did the same thing to my XR6 turbo ute. Middle of the night, no note - just did a runner. I know who did it but they're hiding their car. Police don't care, won't investigate, even though i know who & what car.
The tub is written off - it's insured, but that's not the point

I'll put pics of it up later - I'm absolutely shattered!

Glen that is just so unfair, for someone who has such an awesome ride such as yourself, which is looked after so well and some low life to do this and then not have the guts to at least leave details etc. I really do feel for you. I hope bad karma meets them.

Thanks everyone for your support. Got the quotes today and looking to be in the $4500 to $5500 mark. They said they'll replace the front guard and door skin and the rest will be beat/pulled out to as straight as posible and have minimal filler to smooth it. I'm told it'll be good as new and if I look behind the pannel when it's finished I'll be hard pressed to see it was repaired. That's what I like to hear. Hopefully it'll be in by the middle of January and still be ready for the upcoming shows. Gonna get the front bar respreyed (again) while their at it to kill the stone chips.

Cheers
Glenn

I did this to my ute a few weeks ago (only the tub part tho) i know your pain, worse part is i did it myself :(

I just got mine back from the panel shop (new left hand tub skin) and they didnt match the paint properly, so its gotta go back now :(

Just bad luck, and sad that people cant be honest!!

Hey Glenn, Seeing the damage today broke my heart. I feel for you mate and I hope that the repair will have it looking better than new.

Please be thankful that that it could have been worse!
