It doesn't surprise me that on the western side of the range that we will only get more wind to dry the dead ground out even more and absolutely not one drop of rain.

Forecast map is all over the place the last few days (latest is it will turn sharp up north) and while I doubt it would land in the south, if it did it would be very destructive considering they don't build to cyclone code that far. In the Goldy they have a lot of canals to deal with too even if the homes still stand.
