Default ASL converter

There is a thread in this section where the ASL converter has been used to display a media centre output on the ICC screen.

Can this same converter be used to display the output from a PC?

I am looking at one of these units as a car computer. All up the cost of one of these is much less than an OEM Satnav system. Using a Garmin GPS18 Engine I can then feed GPS to the ICC screen. Plus the car computer can be used for media playback and mobile web...

Yes the box can be used but their are different ways to accept a PC input which we do not support as yet (shortly) which may be more suitable.

Cheers
