Default ZG Fairlane

Hi everyone
A long time ago (1974) my parents purchased a brand new ZG Fairlane
Engine: 302 V8, floor shift Auto, Series 1 (no vinyl top)
Colour: Copper Bronze (looked like a rusty red)
Interior: Brown Vinyl
They sold this vehicle 12 months later because my father wanted a Mercedes
Unfortunately, the buyer of the ZG wrecked the car 6 month later and it was totally destroyed, killing the new owner in a fiery head on accident..
Its always been a talking point in my family about how they should have sold the Mercedes and kept the ford instead
Well.. after many years, I would like to find a similar ZG twin & restore it and hand it to my parents before my father stops driving and /or they leave this earth ..
Sounds a bit off the rails, but they are in their late 80s now and I was 12yo at the time, learning to drive in it when it was new
I don't know how many were built with this combination or how many are left in existence (on road or otherwise)
Was hoping someone may be able to help find something, and if the $$$ is right, go from there

Thanks for reading
Mark
