I need to remove the alternator from my LV 2.0LTR diesel. I cannot find anything on line to show me the way, theres a couple on youtube but not for my model. I have found an old post on the forum showing drawings of how to do it, but i need to remove an item from above the alternator before I get to it. Can someone tell me what the arrowed item is and how to remove it? It could be the fuel filter, not sure I don't have a manual for the car. I have read that its easier to remove the alt from below, but I think its the A/C compressor fitted underneath it.
