Default Castrol coupe? Anyone know where it is?

Col and I were flicking through some old magazines and come across this. I remember entering this competition to win it.Does anyone know what happened to the Castrol Coupe?

Here is the old entry form questions.

Cheers Jack

When I saw the pic, it reminded me of the coupe that Darryl owns in "Love the Beast"

Great looking car! You would HAVE to have been happy to win that!

I remember eagerly waiting for the each issue of SM when they were building this up. Loved it at the time, apart from the god awful Mitsubishi Starion console KB put in it!!!

Kevin Bartlett tuned the suspension on this car at Oran Park.
He used alot of the same suspension parts and setting that were used on '74 Bathurst winner he shared with JG.

I don't know where the car is located these days, but I've heard it is in very good condition
and still runs well.

Just thinking, I think it would be great to see a Street Machine giveaway car reunion.

Could you imagine if Street Machine ran a competition like this now??..boy! Talk about an increase in magazine sales. I think half of us on here would be more than a few copies just to enter!

Thanks! Not sure where you "noticed" that though, the forum sent me an email but I hope it didn't start an embarrasing thread in The Pub or somewhere I haven't seen?
