I need to do some painting after fixing some rust around the rear Window. Those rubbers really hide rust well.
What colour is my AU3 XR6 VCT. On the plate it says the colour code is W. I have searched through this forum and a couple of other Ford Forums and have found nothing relating to this W paint code. Does not exist on any of the charts. The car is Silver if that helps. It is not a pure silver, it has a feint tinge of blue in it. My guess would be maybe Liquid Silver or Alaskan Frost but they don't have a W colour code.

Max ellery manual says W6 is "Ameretto"
There is no W listed for AU paint codes...or any other model from '98 to '02. |

It is definitely just a single W on the plate.
Has me stuffed. I will have to dig out the photo copy of the original receipt for the car purchase to see if that has any further info. Solved Just realised I have been reading the Transmission code. The paint is LD, liquid silver.
