Default 2019 focus rear wheel alignment

Hi

Took a corner too tight and rear wheel kissed a curb today. Was from a complete stop so very slow, <10kmh. Bit of a mark on the rear tyre but nothing else visible and drives fine

Is it worth getting a wheel alignment? I was going to get ford to check it when it goes in for service in a couple of months. Is anything even adjustable on them?

Thanks

There are listed alignment specs for them so there must be some adjustability.

Ok thanks, are the specs listed online?

I might take it to my local place and get it checked

If it's anything like the MKI I would be doing front and rear alignments. I know it "feels" better after they're done and they're usually out, not by much but...…...

A wheel alignment is a good idea after severe gutter rash or a huge pothole.but a wheel alignment should be taken when you can feel abnormal wear on the inside of the tyre or just as a yearly checkup imo.

Thanks, might just get it done in a couple of months when it’s due for service since it’s driving fine

Wonder if the dealer does it onsite or if they take it to a tyre place...

You say you 'kissed' a kerb. That's not likely to do any harm. You would have had to have impacted the kerb with a good deal of force before you'd want to check. I'd say you have nothing to worry about unless you see any abnormal wear on the affected wheel.
