Default escort mk1 engine swap

Im looking into getting a mk1 escort and im thinking about doing an engine swap to a ca18de becasue i cant have a turbo as of the p plates.. anyway can anyone give me some help in finding a good motor 130-200hp in 4 cylinder and NON TURBO.. haha

pretty sure you cant drive a car with and engine conversion either

You could be sneaky and bolt in a 2.3 from a mustang II, looks almost identical to the escort 2.0
