Smile Perth Falcons Anniversary Cruise For PMH, 26/8/07

Now as some of you may know in August of 2006 this club was formed by Wils_88.
So with our anniversary fast approaching, we decided we would do something a bit bigger and better then your normal cruise.

On the Sunday the 26th of August we will be doing a charity cruise for Princess Margret Childrens Hospital!

Heres a bit about the PMH Foundation that we are raising money for:

The PMH Foundation is the principal fundraising body for Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, raising funds to provide much needed medical equipment and services.

The Foundation works to maintain and develop the Hospital’s strong link with the community. The organisation is continually developing creative fundraising strategies aimed at supporting the ever-increasing needs of the Hospital, while also benefiting donors.

Western Australia is a vast state of more than two and a half million square kilometres – approximately a third of the Australian continent. PMH is WA’s only specialist children’s hospital and treats around twenty thousand children and teenagers every year from isolated and rural areas as well as cities and towns.

The Foundation is dedicated to working with the community to improve the quality of life for all sick Western Australian children. It encourages and facilitates the general public, community groups and businesses to pull together and support the Hospital in providing the very best of care.

Heavy use of the Hospital’s facilities, and the rapid rate of modern medical advancements, means ensuring the best possible care for kids is a never-ending task.

It will be an OPEN FORD cruise so we would like to see as many fords attending as possible.

Cruise meetpoint:
Whitfords Shopping Centre ( Corner of Marmion Ave And Whitfords Ave in Hillaries)

For lowered car owners concerned about speed bumps thewhitfords ave
entrance just before marmion ave does not have any!!!!!!

Meet: 11am

Depart: 12pm

It will be an OPEN FORD cruise so we want to see as many fords attending as possible!

Cost will be $20 for a map which you will receive a receipt for.

There will be a BBQ cooking up snags to help raise money as well every cent we receive is going onto PMH!

Cheers

I couldn't think of a better reason for taking the car out than for kids

Having experienced first hand the wonderful work of PMH after they cared for our son and gave unbelievable support to all of our family I never miss the opportunity to help this most worthy cause where I can.....

And I love my Fords too

I'll be there, good work guys and a most worthy charity- I would encourage anyone to join in and give their support

And congratulations on your first anniversary too
