Ok now we come to Greg, the clubs secretary and all round good guy. Greg is an unashamed member of the 'XW faker' club. this car was once a 'Street Machine Magazine' feature car...back when it was still all XW. : now days she wears an XY front. Engine details are as follows- 351 Cleveland backed by a c10 and 9" diff. A Redline single plane intake holds up a Holley 750 vaccum secondary carb breathing through a hornet scoop. Braking is taken care of by XA disc front with XD calipers. inside features a B&M Quicksilver shifter in a centre console borrowed from an NA fairlane. Interior trim is blue and black velour with a sub box in the boot.

Now we come to Max and Jill's Immaculate 1963 Fairlane Compact. This car is one of the absolute show stoppers in our merry little group. Resplendant in it's immaculate Candy Apple red paint and stunning red and white interior, this car looks like it could have been taken straight out of a time capsule. With a 260ci v8 and 2 speed auto, it really is the ultimate in cruisin' cool.

Now it time for Terry M. Who is our Events Co-ordinator/ Rally Director, even if he sometimes finds us stranded on a dusty, corrogated track :1syellow1. This is his be-loved 1978 Silver Monarch LTD. the silver exterior is accentuated by the red velour interior. The 351 is set-up to run on petrol and LPG. Terry is just the 3rd owner of this very tidy example of a rarely seen model.

Our next entry is Henry's '04 BA GT. Finished in Vibe and wearing dealer fitted Super-roo decals. The Boss 290 has been tickled with a SS Inductions CAI, Pacemaker headers and a high flow exhaust. A re-mapped ECU helps to pump out a healthy 391 BHP.

Now we have Allan's XC. Recently resprayed in Ultramarine blue and wearing a set of 17" BA xr6 alloys, Cobra bonnet scoop and a slightly lower set of springs. The engine is a fairly standard 302 Cleveland with a K&N filter and 3" exhaust system. The interior features sports bucket seats, a B&M Quicksilver shifter and a Alpine Head-unit and 6 stacker.

OK now we come to my humble steed. The 'Nighthawk' is a 2000 model AU. Painted in Galaxy blue and wearing a Hawk front bar and spoiler, with v8supercar rear bar and side skirts. Rims are 18" Xhp Scorch items. the engine is stock apart from a Ba Xr6 Turbo CAI. Interior highlights are lots of body coloured bits and a custom stereo install with hand made "nighthawk" courtesy light.

Ok I finally managed to get some photos of Clive's EB GT. This Cobalt blue beauty is powered by the usual 5.0 litre windsor and is backed by a 5 speed manual. While the exterior has been left factory original, a few bolt on cosmetic upgrades have managed to find their way into the engine bay- These include new polished rocker covers and a custom GT nameplate.

Here are some shots of my XP. It has been an 18 month project, with lots of advice and support from other early ford owners, suppliers across the country and mates.

Got some bits from this rusty relic at Howard near Hervey Bay.

can't you just gently rub back the wiper arms and then repaint them? if not go to the wreckers, could save you plenty of cash.
