Talking Car has been tuned FWOAR!!!!

I know I know all you turbo guys have been well aware of the power that is readily available from the I6T. But for the uninitiated of us who have been rolling around in the V8 world it's a pretty big slap across the back of the head when we see the results of a good tune.
I dropped off the car today for a tune some new 60lb injectors and K&N. I hung around until the 'boss' came to pick me up so I got to see the stock run before I left. Even that was impressive - 229.7 from a stock motor aint too shabby..... 270KW? Yeah right. I think those at FPV might be slightly underquoting the F6's power.......
So picked her up tonight and voila 285.0 at the tyres. : Unbefreakinlievable! I have seen the light.....

A huge thankyou to Mick at Pitlane Performance in Frankston - Very nic tidy workshop and great results.

seems very good for a stock car, auto or manual? even an auto roughly pushing the "quoted" stock power of the fg...not bad at all, 285 is a good number

I'm glad you happy with our work Kris.

I was a bit surprissed when we ran it up on our dyno as I was expecting 210-220 rwkw. The final result also exceded my expectations as well as I thought with the small mods we carried out we might see 270 rwkw.
Just think what could happen if you updated the breathing of the car :

The best thing about the car is how nice it drives.

Absolutely right Mick - You can tootle around in it like it was a big lazy Falcon and then put your foot into it and it turns into an animal...... I think I'll need to be very careful in this car - it's so easy to go from legal to outrageous in a matter of seconds :

Nice!

Give it 4 - 6 weeks and you'll be looking for more.

Mate can i be a pain and ask how much of a dent that put into the wallet?
So is it just the cat holding it back from the 300 mark?

Very nice slab of power there.

Your stuffed now though. Before you blink you will spend another 5K and be up around 350rwkw.

Jeez you guys must all be megalomaniacs (in a good car sort of way)!!!!
Here I was thinking that 285 was sufficient...... Is it really a forgone conclusion? Should I just go tell the "Lady High Purse Strings Controller" that I will be putting in further business case applications for more funding now?
Does anyone know a good florist in the area?

I'm booked into Nizpro to get fuel pump, injectors, cat and a custom tune done in a few weeks. Can't wait. Hopefully I'll get over 290rwkwk :

i no longer have this so called bug the mark left is more like a bite from a large bear. theres no hope for anyone with these cars. the first mod is fine but it doesn't take long before your tuner knows whos on the phone before theres an answer on the other end.
