I have a 1991 ford telstar. I just change the 2.0 DOHC Automatic engine, it is Ford engine too. That engine has 4 gear, i don't know why it is just can run until third gear, and the fourth gear almost cannot work. Anyone face this problem before? it is make me quite trouble now...

make sure all the auto wires are connected
reset the ECU oil levels perfect if no better the overdrive or end clutch has failed take the end clutch cover off and inspect the end clutch

if you changed the auto gearbox over and the engine as well
the ecu to a different gearbox will be different ? you need the new gearbox ecu and all wired in to work it
