Default Any truckers on here?

Any truckers on here that do Sydney to Adelaide or better yet Port Augusta? Got a front bar off a G6E for a great price and need to get it home but all the quotes I have got ruin the good deal and make it dearer than purchasing here.

After anyone that may have the space to throw the bar in with their load.

E-go couriers are alright on price. Can do door-depot and door-depot if the seller can drop off for you. Online estimator will give you a price. Depot locations on their site as well, to see if it works for you.
Where's the pick up location?

Mate, I've got trucks, But I never went that far on My Honeymoon....LOL

Sydney to Port Augusta is the best part of 1600km....
Your bar (as has being mentioned) is Ugly & will take up 2 pallet spaces & need to be "Top Loaded"

if you really want It , Just pay the middle Quote & be done with It..

Try GKR as they do a Lot of east west Freight.. i shared Depot facilties with them 20 Odd years ago, & are (or were) decent Blokes to deal with https://www.gkrtransport.com.au/

What about a removalist looking for squares?

Or make it the AFF “football” and it’s passed along a chain.

Better than Wagon drivers Pommies call themselves.

Used "Pack & Send" plenty of times for bulky stuff.

Where's the pick up location?
E-go is part of Hunter express. Here is some fairly accurate reviews in my opinion
https://www.google.com/search?client...er%2520Express

I used them to ship a bike from Adelaide to bris and return. Never again. Definitely get what you pay for. Front skewer (axle) was gone by the time I got it back. Only holes in the box were the grab handles, which means at some point the box was upside down even though there were 'this way up' stickers all over it. Rear derailleur hanger was bent even though packed with foam, so clearly took a reasonable hit. Box looked like it had been dragged along behind.

So yes, I would steer clear of those guys.

Ahh Prydey, I hate that for you Mate.
Probably a costly experience too.
I've used them about 12-15 times. Only bad experience was also a bike. 29er with the front wheel not secured inside, and axle chipped away some down tube paint. Probably avoided if packed better though. Like Syco, I bought online, and then asked for pick-up help on a forum.
I option the insurance, starting at $2.50 for $100 value. I've been told it encourages gentle handling, to avoid paperwork etc.. Sometimes I insure to full value, sometimes just minimum $100. There must be an alert on their scanners of insured cargo.

Where's Syco? He's initiated a sub-forum here

I used smartsend.com.au to get a set of rims from WA to Vic a few years back.

Cheap service (I opted for the go slow option), they arrived sooner than was estimated, and they arrived without any transportation damage whatsoever. Service was from door to door.

Would happily use them again.

Not sure how appropriate for your use they'd be.
