Hey guys my icc unit turns off & on randomly sometime have to give a whack for the screen to turn on sometimes the control works & some it doesnt also power windows tends to drive up like a snail everyone suggested graphite powder is there a fixed solution cheers vitz. Ba xr6 2003

Graphite powder is the general solution, unless you was to pull out your baileys channels on all windows and clean them manually.
It's possibly that the plugs underneath and at the rear of the ICC are loose. This shouldn't be the case unless it's been previously removed, but it'd be the first thing I'd check. See the instructions for mixer shaft replacement in the tech portal for instructions on how to get to those plugs.

Have a look on eBay to get and idea of prices of secondhand ones. You could also ring wrecker to see what price is, they may recommend someone who can fix cheap. Lucky there were many BA's made so there should be plenty of secondhand ones. |
