The Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club will be holding a fund raising day for Allan and Dylon Cliff on the 30th of August. The 30th is our club run day, but we have turned it into a short cruise and then a show and shine. During the week we are sending out official invites to East Coast *olden's, Hastings Old %olden's, and the Port Macquarie Hot Rod Club to joins us. We will be meeting at the Food for Less car park at 10:00 AM, and departing at 10:30 AM, we will then head off for a cruise to the Kew pub via Laurieton and then head north up the highway and then we will be turning left into Bago road and then to Wauchope. We will be parking our cars at Curlys Cafe car park where we will have the club trailor set up, Grant and Allison from Curlys will have coffee and scones set up in front of the shop for sale. Entry for the day will be $5.00 per car, we will be trying to form a raffle and auction on the day, we will be cooking lunch on the club trailor. All monies made on the day will go directly to Allan and Dylon. See you guys there. Any questions you can contact me on 0423420078.

At the moment we have invited 6 other car clubs to join us on the day. The Kempsey Sporting Car Club, East Coast Holdens, Hastings Old Holdens, port macquarie antique & classic car club, Port Macquarie Hot Rod Club, and the Manning Valley Cruisers.
We are also forming an auction and a raffle to hold on the day during the show and shine. We are looking for items that some of you do not need anymore to donate for the auction. If you do have something can you please ring Alan Loveday on 0427660681 so we can raise some money on the day.

has anyone thought about the parking as i been past a couple of time and the carpark has been full of shoppers for the supermarket . i presume its 7 days.

Yep, we have been talking with Grant about it, Sunday is a quiet time. If it works out we will have plenty of space.

there will be shoppers coming in & out all day,so we need to make sure we are not blocking thier way,maybe if we can concentrate most of our cars in the right hand side as you face curlys & work our way up,but i presume if you are turning up later you might struggle for a spot to park,we have spoken to the vet & the nursery & have told them there will be a good turnup so they are expecting us.but as long as we do our best to still let there customers see them there shouldnt be any drama's,but we can only do our best,it is for a good cause afterall.

Went there today to check out the parking .At 12 pm about 20 spots close to each other where available at 1.00 it was busy. The club safety hats will came in handy also the clubs pink vests.The lunch we had at curlys was tops thanks to the cooks & staff. Got a club discount on top of it. Cheers .

i was picking my cam up from sure cam today,(in port) and he didnt know where the food for less car park is... lived there 18 months my cars new head and cam goes on starting tonight, so i should be there fingers crossed. new cams specs if anyones interested 218 duration and 554 max valve lift.
oh cars manual now too! damn worth it.
