i was thinking the whole time the HP (hewlet packard police) uno always fails, never working when you want it to, ends up costing more money then its really worth and very slow to respond with not a lot of satisfying results.

:-( no police car, woulda been awesome to have one of the boys in BLUE representing. the above post was a joke BTW, Taree would become a complete HELL with out them.

So we got any reports of snow coming on chill out day? it seems to be warming up all the sudden.

**Edit** quick little added bit, are you guys going the buckets way to Gloucester?

They're going down the highway and turning in at Nabiac so you could meet them at Krambach if you like, also some of the Manning Valley Cruzers coming from Taree so maybe you could meet with them for the drive over.....and NO SNOW only some fake snow in the park for the kids....

I took that road last year on the way home in the xy which is the worst car to take and it wasn't too bad so the gt should make it fine

I can't believe that we are having this discussion about the condition of the road between Nabiac and Krambach. I must be one of the lucky ones in that my cars have what is called suspension. For those of you who are not aware of what suspension does. It enables the car to be driven over uneven roads without falling apart. I suggest that if you are concerned that your car can't ride the odd pot hole you buy some cotton wool and lock it in the garage

LOL! Good call Eric... Although I will say that 19"+ mags don't like potholes too much if you hit them too hard...

Looking at all the chatting that's going on in this thread, and the number of people going makes me wish I could make it, dagnabbit!! So disappointed! Hope you all have a great time and take lots of pictures.

hi all.
as robert said 19 inch and pot holes dont mix.
the road in question can't be as bad as cessnock to central mangrove 43 km of winding, slippery tar no better than the bullock track it was in the 1800's. ( flashed past some sign or thing saying it was). me go hyway next time!!

car washed to be detailed tomoz all ready for the early start.

Hi, all, sadly, I cannot make this but it sounds like it's going to be a top day - even with the Holden boys .. lol .. the road sounds like a good drive for "normal" wheels but with 20" rims and a strip of rubber around them, it wouldn't be much fun - the only drawback with big rims. : P.S. my daughter hasn't had her baby yet, it was due 18th/19th and she is getting mighty impatient and I'm getting might scared - I'm to be with her at the birth : I'll be fighting my daughter for the gas take care all, cheers, Trisha

There is no point to this neil. People are worried about there pride and joy. Go and spent 80 grand on a car and see how you care for it and then comment about it. There are some bad roads you don't take your car isn't there. Julie does take her car on that road each week and is happy to take that route to meetings and outings. But I don't take my car to other roads that gordon or alan might. i know what rough roads are e.g moree to collie, burren juction to walgett. i think this will end this part of a thread.

I think we may have missed the point of a couple of posts. I think a few comments were intended as a bit of tongue in cheek, after a question was put out there.

Personally, I'd have no problem giving the road a go if I was attending the day. But as Brian said, it's a personal choice, especially when you've spent a load of money on your favourite machine ;)

The club voted and discussed this matter at our quarterly meeting that EVERY club member was invited to attend. I explained quite clearly that all matters to deal with Glouster, Valla, and muscle car masters would be delt with. And in the end it was a clear decision to take this route. EVERYBODY had a chance to have a say in this matter so please no more discussions on this matter or this thread will be closed !!!!!

Why not just put a poll in? these forums are capable of having a poll right? then we can move it to another section.

LOL so up tight, chill people, its all about driving our fords! i just thought the people with the newer FUNNER cars would enjoy the corners of the buckets way, i know i would and yes i know talks are closed on the subject, is there anything stopping there being 2 teams of fords going both ways?
