Hello All,
Our club has been invited to promote our club and provide a display at this years Big Boys Toys Expo. All members attending will be provided with a double pass to the event. Places are limited so we need to submit the list as early as possible. Where: Exhibition Park, Canberra. Time: Expo hours 10:00am-5:00pm, all cars must be in by 9:15am Cost: Free entry for members showing their cars Meeting Point for Club members: BP Watson @ 08:30 for 08:45 leave Please add your name to the list below. 1. Ok all details for Sunday: Meeting time: 0830am for a strict 0845am departure as a group to Epic Meeting Location: BP Service Station, Northborne Ave, Watson At Location: Our tickets will be waiting for us at the gate each car will get a free double entry ticket only. We will be setting up the 2 3x3m Marques and setting cars up ready for the show to start. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Notes from the event coordinators All vehicles are to arrive between 8.00am – 09.15am. Gates will close after this time. Entry is through the main gate on Flemington Road only. Upon arrival advise Security which Club you are from. Each vehicle displayed will receive a double pass for entry to the Expo which is valid for that day only. Additional occupants will need to purchase tickets. Discounted tickets are available online or they can be purchased on the day at the main gate. Parking Proceed to your allocated area. A parking attendant will direct you to your site. This will be your location for the duration of the Expo. All vehicles must remain parked at all times during the Expo. Close time The Expo will close at 4.00pm each day. Vehicles are allowed to leave from 4.00pm onwards. Please ensure all cars are driven at a walking pace when leaving for the day. All cars leaving for the day, must be exited by 4.30pm. Security The gates will be locked and there is 24 hour security if you choose to leave your car overnight. People’s Choice Award Entrants for the People’s Choice Award must register at the Shannons Insurance stand and be allocated an entrant number sticker. They are located in Budawang Pavilion site B13. These must be displayed on the windscreen of your car. This is the number attendees will use to vote for your vehicle. Nominations forms will be issued at both ticket entry points. Vehicles displayed on both days have an obvious advantage of receiving more votes. The winner will be announced Sunday afternoon at 3.30pm. Nominations are to be placed in the box at the Shannons Insurance Budawang Pavilion site B13 by 3pm Sunday. The Award ceremony will be held at the Shannons Insurance Budawang Pavilion site B13 at 3.30pm Thank you for being part of the 2016 Big Boys Toys Expo! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Look forward to seeing you all there on Sunday, the current forecast is 14 and sunny so it should be good.
