I've heard good things too. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a set of leads from for the forte? No one seems to know who stocks them.

While on the subject, where can I get Eagle leads?

Ice...I talkedto them a few months back and my impression was that these guys were very good. Unfortunately they do not deal with wasted spark ignitions like ours.

I've got ICE leads on my AU. Probably made SFA difference given the application (stock), but they are an awesome quality product and look great.

What do you mean they dont deal with ignitions like ours?

I made an enquiry with them and they said they have a kit that suits the Xr motor? Wouldnt that mean it would suit the standard AU I6 too?

The leads themselves wouldnt make a difference on their own, just a bit of eye candy, combined with some upgrades of the other components of the ignition system you'd have a pretty efficient spark/fire.

I'll buy when of their kits they have for the XR motor and let you all know the results, im curious about what they can do with the rev limit...everything is adjustable.

Just gave ICE a call....they have the kit for the I6 but he wreckons you wouldnt need more than leads and the spark booster as the ignition is pretty decent on the AU.

that is just the ignition booster it boosts the positive voltage to 16V giving a much more stable and larger spark ideal for LPG cars IMHO. the leads are $145 retail but i'm sure he will reduce these too for a group buy

lol I just gave them a call too. 3 guys asking the same questions about AU's :rofl

I was told:
$110 for 8mm
$132 for 9mm Pro 100
$??? 9mm Race 1000

Blueprint. Looking at the website it's $396 for the booster only. It's not a kit.
If it was for a booster and leads kit I'd be interested in a group buy.

I'm also very interested in a group buy for leads alone!!! Anyone else?

Whos good at negotiating? be good to organise a booster and leads pack, especially if we can get a good number of people to buy....

To those that read from here on in, some ford and holden owners have dropped their msd/other ignition gear and thrown ice in.

will suit any indictive ignition just goes inline with the coil positive ( in the wasted spark EF and AU there is still only 1 positive feed and 3 negative pulses)

I assume this setup would go well with dual fuel cars also?

This is an interesting concept.
