Default Elbow Grease Hurts...

Thought I would post up a couple pics of the paint protection I applied to my car yesterday...after 5 hours and my arms almost falling off, I'm happy with the results

The kit was purchased from Chris at On The Spot Paint Repairs (site sponsor) and cost $95 (including p&h) for 1x 100ml paint pre-treatment and 1x 100ml paint sealant - both were more than enough for a Focus (would do a Falcon with no problem). Kit also comes with 2 applicators and some polishing towels (for more info check out the On The Spot Paint Repairs subforum).

Pics don't really do the finish any justice (crappy weather for taking pics), just took some quick ones to give you guys an idea of the results...

It is said it can last up to 5 years, but I imagine that depends on alot of variables...climate, location (city vs country), garaged/parked uncovered, how its washed (ie pressure washer...big no no, vs. hand wash with only water), etc.

Will have to take more pics on a sunny day...

Damn, didn't see that coke can...might have to give that door an extra buff tonight. Seems to be a boat in the drivers door too :
