Hi guys ,
I have just completed my first track day at winton in my fiesta zetec 2010 and loved it. I was running standard street tyres and I was experiencing traction issues as you can imagine. I purchased a set of standard steel rims which are a 15 by 6inch rim which have a 185x 55 tyre fitted standard from the factory. I'm wanting to purchase toyo r888 tyres and fit to the steel rims but I can only find the tyres in a 195x 55 my question is will they fit on the steel rim? I have called a hand full of tyres shops some say they will others say they won't as the inner diameter is different. This sounded strange to me I was more worried about the additional 10mm width being to wide for the run. Thanks for your time guys |
