after seeing pics, lsv will only agree to $30,000 with mine. looks like I am paying the extra $90 for another $6750 in the worse case scenario

I would be happy with 30K for mine. Hell if someone walked up my driveway and 50 the pair........... that would take some serious thinkin. I will chuck a party if we can get away with insurance for under 700

Yep im mexician dont know if its a state thing i had shannons view my coupe at echuca 09 they agreed value of 70 grand i said no probs 1 month later shannons rang me saying they were upping the price to 80 grand no probs when i switched to lumleys all they requested was a copy of my insurance pollicy showing that shannons insured my coupe for 80 grand when the saw that they said no problem. Was a real easy process.

Thanks dudes, It has had its ups and downs, and like I said it isnt perfect yet but Danni is happy with it for now so thats my bum off the hook. It has sucked a few parts out of my stockpile but I never plan on doin another coupe so the rest will be mothballed now. I do have a yearning for another blaze blue 4door xc ( was my first drive car way back) and still have the 302 capri to finish. The winter white must be seen to be believed. It is a bit bright for me but startin to grow on me. I will have both cars together tomorrow so will snap a shot of em both together .

Thanks to everyone for their comments and advice and even for just droppin in for a read. Its the first time I have done a rebuild thread and I think I will do another.

Thanks for watchin all

Well done buddy. It looks fantastic. Is the rear spoiler a repro? How did you fit it? The ones I have seen need to be screwed to the boot lid and the screws protrude through the spoiler and look like *****!

Thanks mate, Its a repro spoiler, as for fitting I fill it with expandafoam so it feels solid , then the small lip is trimmed off the bottom to make it sit a touch flatter with the boot lid and sides. Once it sits nice , sikaflex it in place. Let it dry overnight and glass it on to match the body lines and finish with a bit of nikki.
