Default Double Valve stems - why

Hi,

i'm just looking for new wheels for my Bf XR8 and came across these in FB Market - why do you have 2 valve stems ? or is it something else .

You use one stem to bleed off and exchange ambient air for nitrogen which is put in other stem.

I thought it was so you can blow up both front tyres from the one side of car?

You could fit one with a deflator (to drop the pressure out when racing) to maintain the same pressure then top up post race

I remember a burnout comp in the early naughties, there was a very tidy XD sedan on the pad with a pair of JJD twin tyres on the rear, looked pretty trick when it got to the belts and it was sending out x4 sets of sparks out the back (was at night for extra effect)

No problem using one. Easy to run 78% N.
