Default LV 09 Radio/Dash Light Settings

Morning all

Just noticed (after a mate at work pointed it out to me) that my radio face light and dash light stay on for a very long time after the car is locked. Is this normal?

When I say light I mean the red led glow you get showing the details on the screens.

Is this something I can change in some menu ?

It's quite normal, my 2011 Zetec does the same thing as do a lot of later model cars. Not sure if it can be changed or not, maybe try looking in your manual.

I think the time-out is an hour if you don't lock the doors. I gather this is so you can use your radio when the key is out and the ignition off...but why you'd want to do this is a mystery to me.

My LV MKII does it, and so does my missus' WT Fiesta.
