Default Focus 1/4 Mile Times

Now that I've had the fun of putting my Focus down the 1/4 mile, just wondering if anyone else has done the same to give me something to compare to.

Its an LS Zetec with no work done whatsoever, slowest run was 18.1 and the fastest was 17.08.

Would be good to get some comparison figures to see what others are pulling, with or without work. If you do post a time would be good if you could list any work (no matter how minor) so I have something to compare with.

As I won the encouragement award at the event which bought $150 my way, I'll be putting that back into the car (along with more of my own money of course) - probably in the form of some sort of intake system to start with.

Thanks mate

The 18.1 was my first ever time down a quarter mile, I think that a couple of nerves kind of prevented me from giving it everything I could - and after that, it was pretty much all improvement all weekend, even if it was only by fractions of a second in the end!

Anyone done a TDCi Auto on the 1/4, it feels really quick but you just never know. Would be interested to know.

LTD can be seen: http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11300069

Unfortunately I haven't done anything to it since getting defected in January :(

And the VN thing is a bit of a joke between me and a few others on here ;)

Wow, that's damn quick for a Focus. I'd love an XR5, unfortunately the budget didn't stretch that far :(

Yeah it WAS one of the quicker ones...now there's about 5 ahead from memory that we know of. Nizpro have run a 12 sec 1/4 with their insanely modded and Shell Rally Leaded fuel running XR5...Maniac has run a 13.4 with full custom tune, various mods then there's a few around 13.5 and 13.6(recent time) followed by myself and another member in the 13.9 bracket. There are some VERY quick XR5's out there which confuse the hell out of people when they are left for dead in their 8's. ;)
