We operate a rather large fleet of sign written vehicles. My manager has started fitting dash cams to the fleet just in our section (approx. 90 vehicles). The amount of phone calls that come through reception reporting driver behaviour (justified or not) is astounding. His reasoning is the camera can work both ways, to convict or clear the allegations. Also are good for accidents. One guy had someone pull over in front of him on a three lane road without using indicators and tried to blame our employee for hitting him. You could see the expression change in his face when it was pointed out he was being recorded.
