Ordered some stuff yesterday for a job today and another tomorrow, some specialised bearings and brackets, global supplier with good track record. Selected “collect from trade counter” option and received two emails confirming it was ready as of late yesterday.
Arrived at the depot today, expecting the usual 1,5m tape lines on the floor, 2 people max etc etc. Nope, bolted down tight. Not a squeak, even the reception was locked down. So I rang the only number they have, spoke to someone probably 20m away from me behind locked doors.
Apparently they haven’t yet got around to amending their web order form to exclude the pickup option. I grumbled a bit and they agreed to courier it out today. Would have been nice to know before I planned my work or drove a 50km round trip. Yeah, I hate that.
