The length is deceptive. The tailgate may slope forwards, with the tent-like concealer being a total distraction from the actual profile, making it look longer than it is.
Heres a pic (or maybe a render -not sure) without the concealing covering.
Drivetrain will be interesting, will it be fwd on just the base or all models? And engine size? Wait and see.
