thanks guys. The battery should be fine, it's less than 12 months old. The cranking voltage is reasonably high (9.9v) so I'm figuring the starter should be ok, will look into it and the battery though if the module doesn't work. Will look at module soon, see how things go. Is there any way to test the module or do I just have to replace it and pray?
I'm going to pull the carby and put a kit through it soon so hopefully that'll fix that area...
