Hi Guy's,
This is a great post "crap cars of the past". I could write five pages on this topic.

1. Holden camira.
2.Leyland Morris/Marina Six.
3.Ford Cortina six the car was overpowered and if pushed too hard it was hard to keep on the road as it under steered and oversteered simultaneously.
4.Datsun 120y Automatic.
5.Toyota Lexcen.

Thats just a few i can think off.

A mate of mine and a good mate of 30 years went and brought a second hand XJ6 Jag.
I told him all about the problem with the Lucas Electrics but he wound'nt listen to me and went ahead and brought it.

I took him out to get the car and on the way back he stoped. I got out of my car and said "what are we stopping for"?
he said " the car just stoped".

My reply was after i finished laughing " Lucas prince of darkness strikes again".

He told me "you can go and get ****" and it did'nt help when the NRMA turned up and said "sorry mate it will have to be towed". I burst out laughing again.
