If you want to talk about being prewarned, SARS is similar and they still haven't got a vaccine for it, neither was Trump POTUS. This is just a mutation on that and I guess the world stopped caring about that corona virus because it was pretty much contained in Asia. Mostly because there wasn't many Chinese working in Italy or on cruise ships during the SARS outbreak.
