Sounds like a great setup, having concealed speaker systems that still produce quality sound for movies and music is the way I would go today. If you have the room for 7.1 I would definitely recommend it over 5.1. More Blu-ray Discs are coming out with this format and IMO it is a significant improvement to the movie watching experience.
