+1 to preferring manuals but for a daily then auto just makes sense. cant imagine the annoyance of driving a manual 4x4 around. In theory no difference to a smaller car but just not worth the effort.

I will have a manual as a fun car soon enough, for me really but also for the kids to learn in.
