I see this a positive step forwards. Although the ability of choosing from 33 options A) it removes true choice; and B) it offers those who uphold oppression (overtly) to choose answers through idiocracy on a census which attempts to form an accurate picture of a nation. If the move was to be more inclusive/accepting, why not leave the question open for a persons true account of identity through their own narrative?
