Barely three months since an acquaintance died from opiate use. They mostly self-regulated with the odd bit of property crime and petty theft mixed in.

I’m a firm believer in decriminalisation of many drugs, the money spent on policing is better used on consolidating social support. Can’t see it happening under the present regime, however.
