A lot of good info there oldel, thanks - i flagged going with the gt710 which was the manufacturer recommended supported upgrade of the day - which you are right not so much a gaming gpu
Went with a gtx1650 which should be about 40% better than the 1050 but same tpd @70w or thereabouts, not quite as good as the 1060 but
The prob with the sff hp elites is they have like a hardwired pu which restricts what you can do from what i understand - there is a workaround but it looked like a pita
For what i want at the minute it will be good enough to do for now - im only a few hundy in, this gets me running - have a new ultra wide screen on the way, ill spend decent on the cockpit then upgrade as time goes on from there - want to get full motion eventually
