Standard practice in Vic is if you’re done for under 10kph over the posted speed limit, you write a letter admitting your indiscretion, as well as now realising the untold peril you were putting yourself and other road users in, as well as explaining how you’ve learnt from the error of your ways!… Always works!
Only proviso is only ONE letter per 3yrs..
