Lincoln have no presence in Australia at all. While we're buying premium SUVs, I wonder if a relative unknown (yes, I know, it has existed in the US for decades and is a subsidiary of Ford) in a badge-snob market would gain too much traction.
Infinity seems to be doing alright, and I think Australians are pretty accepting of a dynamic market now. I would like to see Lincoln go global. I think they will have products worthy of it soon. The Expedition is closer in size to a LC200 than the Explorer is. It’s a little longer, but not significantly. Just enough to make it more comfortable. Fuel economy difference between the two is insignificant.
