If they are white they will only be rated at 2000Mah I believe (mine are 6m up a tree in a time lapse camera and I swap then twice a month).

What are the Duracells rated at? 2500? 2600??

Certainly try the new Eneloop ones - They are black in colour and are rated at around 2500Mah. They will probably match the Duracells and will do so even after sitting around charged for months.
