and yes I have had ACATs, and ive reached the caps level and had many many meetings with social workers, so I have been preparign myself for the transition.
Its the financial side thats the big killer, having to deal with the state adminastrative tribunal and the public trustee regarding what will happen to her family home and how we are going to pay the bond for the nursing home.

If your mother is classified as high care, you don't pay a bond..
Have you tried Amaroo ,in Gosnells ? My parents were in there, as high care, no bond and they paid 85% of the pension. My brother and I managed their affairs, with no Public Trustee or State Tribunal.Its a big hassle, but you don't pay any fees to Government Depts.
